Smart Kids | Dive into the wonderland of the deep sea - Ecological Wetland Corridor(Outdoor playground)

Design Background

When giant whales leap from fairy tales into reality, when slides become tunnels for deep-sea exploration -"Big Fish Slide" makes a stunning appearance! 

Through the form of a natural non-powered exploration park, the most intimate contact and game method is formed between people and the ocean. 

The 10-meter-high ocean monster turns into a slide, unlocking a new fantasy experience of parent-child interaction with one click!

Design Concept

When art and childlike fun collide  Ecological Wetland Corridor is located on the south side of Tanjiang Avenue in the Xinmei area of Shuikou, Kaiping City. It starts from Dongjiu Road in the east, Xisan Road in the west, 

and the current greenway in the south. It is distributed in a strip shape with an area of about 4 hectares. The entire project is based on sponge city elements and greening construction. 

The construction themes include dense forest exploration, fishing park, sunny lawn, leisure square and other themes.

The Smart Kids Playgrounds design team visited the aquarium and read children's picture books. 

Finally, they took the "gentle giant beast" as the prototype, combining the elegance of whales with the innocence of children. 

The chief designer said frankly: "We hope that children will not only touch the slide, but also the awe and imagination of marine creatures."

The Smart Kids Playgrounds design team extracted the image of "fish" and the elements of Rainbow Valley as the design language of the venue, 

combined with the modern childlike space design, set up multiple exploratory interactive scenes, giving the interactive experience a warmer feeling, 

and also promoting the memory and childlike interest of the wetland park.

Children are naturally curious about the unknown. The mysterious Dayu theme provides unknown and exciting elements, satisfying children's desire for new things.

The fish slide is the focus of the entire venue, highlighting the sculptural sense and fun. Children climb into the "fish" and swim in the endless ocean under the guidance of "fish".

The entertainment facilities combine drilling, climbing, climbing, sliding and other ways of playing, which not only exercises children's physical fitness and social skills, 

but also enhances the interaction between parents and children.

In addition, the play area is also equipped with rainbow knocking music, interactive megaphones, spinning music and swings, 

providing children with more abundant entertainment methods and stimulating their imagination and creativity.

The Ecological Wetland Corridor is not only a playground, but also a catalyst for local people and nature. 

These game areas that are completely dissolved in nature provide children with an immersive natural playground, allowing them to freely explore and play in the purest environment.
